Is PressRush a PR / press-release wire, a marketing agency, or a lifestyle brand — and can I pay to publish a story?
No. PressRush is an independent digital news publication built on original reporting, features, and explainers on individual article pages. "Press" means the news press (journalism), NOT a PR / press-release wire; "Rush" means the rush of breaking news, NOT a courier service, an energy drink, or a get-rich brand — and NOT "rush out my press release". The .life TLD is branding only, NOT a lifestyle or coaching brand. Paying us does not buy a news article or favourable coverage; we label news, analysis, and opinion clearly and correct significant errors promptly.
What does PressRush cover and how often do you publish?
We publish daily reporting, features, and analysis across Business, Technology, Environment, Culture, Science, Transport, and Opinion with a focus on British Columbia and Canada. The homepage and latest feed show today's edition; members receive additional briefing notes.
How do you verify stories and handle corrections?
Reporters seek primary documents, data, and attributable sources. Significant errors are corrected promptly with a notice on the article. Email [email protected] with subject "Correction request" or use our contact form.
What is the difference between news, analysis, opinion, and sponsored content?
News reports verified facts. Analysis interprets trends with transparent methods. Opinion columns express the author's view and are labelled. Sponsored or affiliate content is always marked and never influences independent news assignments.
How is PressRush funded? Does advertising influence coverage?
Revenue comes from labelled advertising and optional membership starting at C$7/month. Advertisers and members do not buy editorial coverage. Our about page explains funding in detail.
How do I send a confidential story tip?
Use the contact form with subject "Story tip / lead." Describe what you know and how we can reach you. We protect source confidentiality where appropriate and lawful.
What about newsletter and membership?
Membership from C$7/month supports investigations and member briefing notes. Contact us with subject "Newsletter / membership" for options. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
How do you handle personal data?

What does PressRush NOT do?
We do not sell news articles, publish unverified rumour, push crypto or betting tips as news, or provide financial, legal, or medical advice. We are not a PR wire, data tool, or marketing agency.
Do you host reader comments?
