These terms govern your access to pressrush.life operated by PressRush Media Inc. ("PressRush", "we"). By using the site you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in British Columbia shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

2. About PressRush

PressRush is an independent digital news publication. The .life domain is branding only — not a lifestyle, wellness, or coaching service. "Press" means journalism and the news press, not a PR / press-release wire. "Rush" means the urgency of breaking news responsibly reported, not a courier, energy drink, or investment scheme. Paying PressRush does not purchase news coverage or favourable articles.

3. Content is information, not advice

Articles, analysis, and opinion are for general information. Nothing on pressrush.life is financial, legal, medical, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals for personal decisions. Opinion pieces reflect authors' views, not necessarily PressRush's.

4. Editorial standards

We aim to report accurately, fairly, and independently; distinguish news, analysis, opinion, and sponsored content; and correct significant errors promptly. Reporting reflects information available at publication and may be updated. See about and FAQ.

5. No paid-for news articles

Advertisers and members do not buy editorial coverage. Sponsored content is labelled. Unlabelled pay-for-play is prohibited by our standards and these terms.

6. Intellectual property

PressRush owns or licenses the PressRush name, logos, design, articles, photographs, and code. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution for non-commercial purposes. Republication, scraping, or systematic redistribution requires written permission except as allowed by fair dealing.

Photographs and illustrations on pressrush.life are protected by copyright. Automated scraping of full article text for commercial datasets is prohibited without a licence. Linking to our front page and individual article URLs is encouraged.

7. User conduct

You agree not to: violate law; harass staff or sources; submit malware; attempt unauthorized access; scrape at scale; misrepresent affiliation with PressRush; or use the site to distribute spam or unlawful material.

8. Submissions and tips

By submitting information through our forms you confirm you have the right to share it and consent to our processing under PIPEDA/PIPA. We may use tips in journalism subject to verification and source protection policies.

Submitting material does not create a contractual obligation for PressRush to publish. We may decline or delay stories for editorial, legal, or verification reasons. Do not submit classified documents, stolen data, or content you are legally prohibited from sharing.

9. Corrections and takedown requests

Report errors via contact with subject "Correction request." We correct significant factual errors promptly and note changes on affected articles. Legal notices may be sent to [email protected]; we assess requests under Canadian law and our editorial standards.

10. Membership and payments

Membership fees are in Canadian dollars. Billing terms are disclosed at purchase. Cancellation procedures are available via contact. Refunds follow posted policies and applicable law.

11. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted access or error-free content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PressRush is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

We do not warrant that external sources cited in articles remain available or unchanged after publication. Readers should verify critical facts before acting on them.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by British Columbia law, PressRush Media Inc., its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of pressrush.life, even if advised of the possibility. Aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (C$100) or the amount you paid PressRush in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify PressRush against claims arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or submission of unlawful material through our forms, except where prohibited by law.

14. Third-party links

External links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access to pressrush.life for maintenance, security incidents, or legal compliance. We may block users who repeatedly abuse contact channels, attempt unauthorized access, or harass staff.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid under BC law, remaining provisions continue in full force.

17. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our privacy and cookie policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and PressRush regarding use of the site, superseding prior oral or written understandings on that subject.

18. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the posted "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

19. Language

These terms are drafted in Canadian English. If translated for convenience, the English version governs to the extent permitted by law.

21. Schedule — fair information principles

PressRush aligns its practices with PIPEDA's fair information principles: accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use and disclosure, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and challenging compliance. This policy is our primary openness document fulfilling those obligations.

22. Dispute resolution

Before commencing formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by written notice to [email protected] describing the dispute. If unresolved within thirty days, either party may pursue remedies available under British Columbia law. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia) where applicable.

Venue for any court proceedings shall be in British Columbia unless mandatory consumer protections require otherwise. You may also use alternative dispute mechanisms offered by applicable regulators.

23. Survival

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination of your use of pressrush.life.

24. Electronic communications

By providing an email address, you consent to receive transactional messages about membership, corrections, and responses to contact forms. Marketing emails require separate consent where required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message or by writing to [email protected].

25. Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA where practicable. If you encounter barriers accessing pressrush.life, contact us with the page URL and description of the issue. We will work to provide alternative formats for essential news content upon request.

26. Force majeure

PressRush is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, labour disputes, internet outages, or government orders. We will resume normal publishing as soon as safely practicable and note significant service interruptions on the homepage.

27. Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. PressRush may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the assignee agrees to honour existing user rights.

28. Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Waivers must be in writing signed by PressRush to be effective.
